'Lipno' is an autumn (medium-late) dessert variety. It boasts resistance to scab, low pruning demands, and decorative fruits with very good eating qualities and storability at least until March. These traits make 'Lipno' very suitable especially for home gardens.
Origin: 'Vanda' x 'Rubinola'
Tree: habit ramified, upright to spreading, vigour strong at first and later medium, low need for pruning during maturity, bears on long shoots and spurs, diploid
Blossom: mid-season, good pollinizer
Productivity: medium early and medium heavy
Disease resistance: resistant to scab, slightly susceptible to powdery mildew
