Our varieties featured at the exhibition Kopidlenský kvítek 2026

On Saturday, 10 October 2026, the 32nd edition of the traditional horticultural exhibition Kopidlenský kvítek took place in the grounds of the Secondary School of Horticulture in Kopidlno, Czech Republic.

The event brought together horticultural enthusiasts, growers and the general public, offering a colourful display of flowers, ornamental plants, horticultural products and floral arrangements. The programme also included exhibitions and activities highlighting the skills and creativity of young horticulturists.

Selected apple varieties bred by our station were also featured at the exhibition. These varieties represent the results of our long-term breeding efforts focused on combining resistance to important apple diseases with excellent fruit quality, attractive appearance and good flavour.

We are pleased that our apple varieties were part of this traditional event, helping to promote modern apple breeding and the importance of disease resistance in sustainable fruit production.
