On 7 February 2023 the Czech Minister of Science, Research and Innovation Helena Langšádlová accompanied by the President of the Czech Academy of Sciences Eva Zažímalová visited our Institute in Prague, Lysolaje. They were introduced to its research activities, took a look at selected laboratories and facilities, and discussed with scientists about the topics and issues of the modern Czech science. Head of our breeding station Radek Černý told both ladies and other guests about our pursuit and successes in breeding apple varieties resistant to economically important diseases. Thanks to a small exhibition and tasting, the participants got to know the most popular and promising varieties from our station.
