The fruit skin with lenticels of 'Cassiopeia' reminds of the night sky with shining stars - that's why it was named after one well-known constellation. 'Cassiopeia' is a very late variety with medium vigour, good branching and resistance to scab that bears large apples with unique colour, high firmness, juiciness, and a pleasant aromatic flavour. This variety is one of our newest ones, just applied for PVR and waiting to hit fruit tree nurseries.
